This is a Howard Clark katana forged in L6.  Howard’s L6 blades are renowned for their cutting ability, durability, and performance by martial artists.

The blades also reflect a very subtle artistic elegance with their gentle notare hamon and a bluish-silver appearance to the steel when fully polished. 

This particular L6 blade was a custom commission and was just finished. The blade is in binsui polish by Howard with copper habaki also by Howard. 

The sword is robust and powerful with an extended chu-kissaki. Due to the fact it is made from L6 it’s incredibly light for a larger blade.

This sword can be used for tameshigiri, iai, or enjoyed as a beautiful art piece once fully polished.
